Virtual Worlds at Sun: Imagine the Possibilities

At Sun, we have a group of Sun Second Life mentors that devote their extra time, energy and passion to the Sun in Second Life project. Part of being a mentor is to evangelize the power of virtual worlds to employees and get them engaged and interestd in what these environments can do for Sun business.

Today I gave a team workshop - mentors provide various levels of 1-1 and team workshops to Sun employees on an as needed basis - to a really great team of Sun employees in an IT group. It was a basic 101 session which was not only useful but fun since the team members (6 of them) were together in-world learning and interacting. Two other Sun mentors were with me to provide additional information and support - it was great!
