I've discovered a great piece of software for developing Slideshows and online photo galleries. It's called SlideShow Pro from Dominey Design. I highly recommend it as it's a great use of ajax and flash. The integration is really amazing and the results are great.

I've used a lot of different pieces of gallery type software for tracking the zillions of photographs we take in our family. My wife is a professional photographer, so you can just begin to imagine what it's like...

Please if you get a chance, check it out. Requires Macromedia Flash for the front end controls (drag), and PHP/mysql on the back end. The best part is the documentation is very well written, and the forums are actually helpful!
