A winter without flu?

For the first time in years there is expected to be enough flu vaccine this season. Usually public health officials urge everyone to get vaccinated, then announce strict rationing measures that withhold the vaccine until flu season is over, then throw away the unused doses. This year they promise no repeat. So far so good.
