The Java 5 FCS is out! This is the biggest change to the Java platform since I first met it in 1995. And what's the best open source development environment for the Java 5 platform? Ec... no, wait a minute, it's NetBeans! They have a new beta release I gather, replete with Tiger stripes.
And if you're in New York today, don't forget the launch party at 6pm - you need to register.
