Free iPod in The Aquarium
Nice new blog from the Glassfish community - lots of short, link-filled entries showing what's going on with Glassfish. The blog's called The Aquarium, naturally. And I notice there's a free iPod Shuffle on offer.
Going for Gartner
I just got to Orlando - it's taken all day to get here, plenty of time to catch up (OK, I admit, on sleep). I'm at the Gartner Open Source Summit, where I'll be speaking Thursday afternoon about the zen of open source - discussing the cycle of use and contribution, how licensing and governance are the key enablers to it and how the diversity of motives of participants gives a good measure of the "health" of a given community once it's established. If you're here too, come over and say hi! I've already bumped into a healthy selection of old friends (Tim O'Reilly, Mike Milinkovic, Greg Stein and Stephe Walli just to name the last four before heading to bed) and would be pleased to be able to put more faces to names.
