Good summary of the improvements in the GPLv3 over GPLv2 from a respected authority on open source licensing. I hope he'll do a follow-up that discusses the remaining (and new) issues the license raises.

Surprisingly detailed report that discloses facts that I'd usually not expect to see until the related court cases. The article accuses US TV of aiding the enemy with its reporting but the Times has to be close to the line here.
