Anything out of the ordinary is ertain to be evil terrorists and you must report it to someone. Preferably someone with a big imagination, small experience and a boss that would sack him for breaking the slightest rule.

Oh joy. More invasion of privacy, data in uncertain hands and delays at the airport. Presumably tourism is so small a source of income it can be squandered without concern?
