I've been recommending "Little Brother" to people all week so thought I'd better add a link to it on Amazon US. It is a great read and manages to explain all the issues with privacy and the surveillance society in teen-friendly terms that even make sense to us old folks...

This is a web site to keep an eye on as McCain's campaign gets dirtier and dirtier. I noticed at the airport a book by the same guy that did the Swift Boat smear on John Kerry, so I've no doubt that as Obama gets stronger the attacks on him will get dirtier, and the right answer is to respond strongly and honestly.
