DST Gap Again
Just a reminder to my American friends that the UK ended Daylight Savings on Sunday and so we are back to UTC - that means this week there's just 7 hours difference between California and the UK, for example. If you're expecting a meeting with me and I'm not there, you may wish to call and check we're both expecting the thing to happen at the same time.

Simon, as far as I know this is the first time that the East coast has been just 4hrs time difference from the UK, ever... unless you know better. See blog entry here: http://triman.livejournal.com/128462.html

I think it is, yes. Usually the gap goes the other way at both ends of the year, but the effort to protect American schoolchildren against daylight has caused this.
