• Happy The Man: The Guggenheim Grotto
  New Guggenheim Grotto album, sounds pretty good (only on Amazon US so far, sorry everyone else).
• Dr. Dobb's - What's Open About OpenSolaris?
  Answers to basic questions.
• DCOS Agreement on Procurement in Support of Interoperability and Open Standards emerges at IGF
  Important step forward for the evolution of procurement policy into the meshed society of the 21st century.
• Hands-on: OpenSolaris 2008.11 a major step forward for Sun
  "I think that it is impossible to overstate the importance of competition as an instrument of progress." Great and fair review with a sound conclusion that cuts both ways.
• TinEye Image Search
  This one is different. It analyses your image, calculates a signature and then searches the web for places where your image is being used. Their search index is a bit small right now but this will be dynamite when it's fully functional - I already found several uses of my photos in brecah of my CC licenses.
• JavaFX Example Code and Project Gallery
  These examples show a great deal of promise. I especially like the fact that runtime doesn't need to be installed as a separate step if you have a Java-enabled browser already. I'd really like to see a full-scale example rather than just these programming example, though, and I'm a bit surprised the JavaFX website is not it.
