Looks like Glassfish works well on Ubuntu. I know a load of Sun engineers are going to the Ubuntu Summit in Mountain View, should be a good geek-fest.

Actually, Miguel, I said what I said exactly because I did remember. This deal just paints a big target symbol on any Mono contributor who doesn't work for Novell.

Glynn Moody spots the expression "mixed source" and shrewdly guesses it's from the playbook. I think he's right, and it's not going to please the Free software community. Better than Shared Source but not much.

I'm sorry, Miguel, but the material is unclear on this subject (and I don't see anything precise on your blog). How about these scenarios:
My deductions about these questions are:
I remember the impact of the Sun agreement well, and if my assumptions are correct I believe this makes Mono developers outside Novell less, not more secure.
