Gordon is right to raise the question of the competitive use of open source and Free software by computer corporations. The biggest problems with open source outlooks come from treating all players as good actors.

Y'know, I don't think these are all defensive. One day people are going to wise up to the fact that IBM is neither cute nor fluffy and even if it was that wouldn't stop it being carnivorous.
