This isn't really a new study, it is a survey of studies. This is a popular new technique where you combine the data from a group of studies and then use this "meta-group" and analyze it as if it were a new study. Sometimes this can give new insight, but the possibilities for errors in the combining process can make the results worthless or misleading. One thing to note, the author of this study doesn't plan on taking echinacea now that he has seen the results.
