Hi Luis! I have a long paper in preparation about this, but the idea first surfaced in "The Other Side of the Glass"[1] and grew a little as I explored Payemnt at the Point of Value[2]. I actually think there are four classes of "software freedom stakeholder:
* Originators (I've also called them co-developers) who gather round the individual source commons;
* Extenders (I've also called them deployer-developers) who use the products of other projects to build applications, distros, extensions, plug-ins and the like;
* Deployers (your user-deployers) who take the results of the first two and put them to work in the real world, in the service of
* Users (your user-consumers, I have called them end-users elsewhere) who actually want to have stuff done and pay or otherwise reward the others.
Groups obviously overlap, but all four groups need their freedoms preserved.
