Get ready to port OpenJDK to a few new places. *BSD, anyone?

Could be tempted to perform a port of OpenJDK to FreeBSD if it wasn't for that little "binary plugs" problem. Can you get those released for *BSD?

@Ceri: Working on it. The reason they are binaries is because Sun was unable to secure permission from the original authors to release source. We're actively re-engineering those files and have made good progress. I suggest a discussion with Tom Marble on how to proceed for FreeBSD.

Cool, thanks. I fully understand why they have to be binaries, but their unavailability for certain platforms will certainly impede any porting efforts unfortunately. I appreciate this all takes time.
