Well it has definitely improved my perception of Sun - when I look for hardware the first company in my mind is Sun. When I think of deployment platform I think Solaris. So yes open sourcing Solaris has brought Sun extra money. I'm sure I'm not that unique either...

Simon, on the insurance database. First it doesn't tell you anything valuable, except a car is or isn't insured. 2nd you have to agree to some rigorous terms, although how they'd enforce since they don't ask for any kind of id...
