Mutual support system for OpenOffice.org - looks a good thing. Raising the expectation that help will be available raises the usability of OpenOffice.org, possibly above commercial competitors.

How the other half lives. I particularly like the security assumption, that charter fliers won't be any kind of threat. Casts the secirity theatre that the masses face into sharp relief.

Bruce smells an attempted take-down in progress. I'm amazed that the mechanisms LifeLock is exploiting aren't the defaults - I would just have assumed that they would be.

About time. Sadly those who have abridged rights for years won't be held to account for diminishing us all by their actions. Treating monsters with humanity is essential if their judgement is to be just.

I got to take a private plane to a product launch once, and by far the most striking part was that we could pull into the parking lot at 7:55 and be about to take off at 8:00.
