I think it's shallow to blame this problem on technology. The fact is the corporate culture that drives the O/C behaviour is the root of the problem, and the various technologies are just its vector.

McCain: Lets hope he is just campaigning to get the right-winged rep hardliners. The good thing about the court decision is that 5 judges were in favor, the bad thing is that 4 judges were against. What a poor show for a civilized nation that it took 6 years to get to a 5:4 decision.
Email: it's not so much only corp culture but the general media incompetence of many. Many of us haven't learned to use media efficiently and selectively. You need to learn to ignore things. The hard part is to know what things to ignore...
