On display at JavaOne: power of 64-bit Servlet container on coolest system on the planet.

Monday May 15, 2006

G'day,

On display in the Sun's Web Server booth at JavaOne - is the power of 64-bit Servlet container running on coolest system on the planet, T2000 running Solaris 10 configured with multiple zones for our cluster demo. It's kind of cool because, to leverage the power of CMT systems like T2000, you really want to be 64-bit. Also, we leverage the capabilities of Solaris 10 Zones to configure multiple zones for our cluster and HTTP session failover (via in-memory replication) demo.

T2000/Solaris 10 systems are driving some very cool consolidation in the webtier infrastructure around the planet. More on that in a later blog. Meanwhile, if you are going to be at JavaOne this week, and want to checkout the cool toy T2000 please do stop by our booth (#702).

Don't forget - we have daily drawing of free iPods at 3pm every day in return for filling out our survey and tuning into one of our demos. See you all.
