DWR_WHUT: DWR_WHUT

On Apr. 17th, we held another tech-talk about java algorithms in Room 412 of East Building in Campus Yujiatou, Wuhan University of Technology. The talk was mainly for students in the 3rd and the 2nd grade. There were 39 attendants. The talk lasted for nearly 2 hours. During the talk, several interesting and useful algorithms developed in java were illustrated.

On Apr. 3rd, we held another tech-talk about search engine programming in java in Room 412 of East Building in Campus Yujiatou, Wuhan University of Technology. The talk was mainly for junior students of the 1st and the 2nd grade. Perhaps because the Tomb-sweeping Day was around the corner, there were only 22 attendants. But still everyone present enjoyed it. The talk lasted for nearly 2 hours. During the first one and a half hour, basic knowlege about seach engine and serveral application examples were introduced. And the last half an hour was filled with hot atmosphere of drastic discussion.

On Mar. 18th, we held another tech-talk about Process of Developing Plugins with Netbeans in Room 412 of East Teaching Building in Campus Yujiatou, Wuhan University of Technology. There are 131 attendants. At the beginning of this talk, I placed an introduction about the programming competition of developing plugins with netbeans among the three high schools------Wuhan Universtiy, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan university of Technology.

On Mar. 3rd, we initiated a sun academic talk in Room 221 of Main Teaching Building in Campus Yujiatou, Wuhan University of Technology. There are 40 attendants. The talk was mainly for senior students of the 3rd grade. At the very beginning, I placed an OSUM introduction. During this part I informed everybody present the website http://www.unix-center.net and the details they need to pay attention to while registering. And then, everyone was free to speak out the "opensource" in his/her mind.

On Nov. 23rd, I held a pizza party in Wuhan University of Technology. Everybody was excited about the party. And we did have a memorable and happy evening. You can see some details from the following pictures. Over 50 students, nongraduates and postgraduates included, gathered in the KTV room near our campus. We bought a big cake, some fruit , soft drinks and other kinds of snack. I asked one of the members of our Opensource Technology Association to host the party. At the beginning, I explained the reason why we could make a celebration there together. And then we sang, danced and played games. During the cake-eating time, we all expressed our hopes and wishes.

Thank Cindy, Michelle and all my friends for their great help. But for their assistance, I could not be able to make my work proceed smoothly.

On Nov. 21st, we held another tech-talk about NetBeans the only IDE you need in Room 415 of Teaching Building 5 in Campus Yujiatou, Wuhan University of Technology. The talk of last week was mainly for senior students of the 3rd grade. But this time more attendants consist of sophomores. The same as last week, at the very beginning, I placed an OSUM introduction. During this part I informed everybody present the website http://www.unix-center.net and the details they need to pay attention to while registering, among which, the plan of CHENXI was included. And then the information of SAI was given too. The third part was half an hour's talk about java basic. The last one and a half hours was about the important IDE----netbeans and coding example demonstration.

On Nov. 14th, we held a tech-talk about NetBeans the only IDE you need in Room 609 of Teaching Building 5 in Wuhan University of Technology. There were more than 60 students attended the talk. Our talk was divided into 4 parts,. At the very beginning, I placed an OSUM introduction. During this part I informed everybody present the website http://www.unix-center.net and the details they need to pay attention to while registering. And then the information of SAI was given too. The third part was half an hour's talk about java basic. The last one and a half hours was about the important IDE----netbeans and coding example demonstration. Details are as follows:
