Stream Benchmark Results on Sun SPARC Enterprise T5240 Server

The Sun SPARC Enterprise T5240 Server supports 2 UltraSPARC T2 Plus processors. This 2RU system provides plenty of bandwidth for so few processors. Measurements with the STREAM benchmark were made on a 128GB system with 1.4GHz processors running Solaris Express with the Sun Studio 12 compiler. The following results were achieved.

[Trackback] Ein Kollege hat die Memory-Bandbreite der 2-Sockel Systeme mit dem bekannten "Stream" Benchmark gemessen .  Bis zu ca. 30 GB/sec. sind gar nicht so schlecht...  Fuer die Ein-CPU Systeme hat die RWTH Aachen bspw. ca. 16GB/sec. geme...
