Oil on Canvas painting - mountain vista

Once in a while it is nice to take a break from busy office work and relax doing something different. This is my first attempt to do an oil on canvas using wet on wet technique. I took the instructions from the book Joy of painting by Bob Ross. Oil painting takes too long to dry. Probably I'll try my next painting with acrylic

Hi I think your paintings are great. I used to paint then had a stroke and am trying to get back to it but I am afraid to try it again, thinking I can't do it, so maybe you will have inspired me. I love Jerry Yarnells style and his teaching would be a miracle to take lessons from him but happy to watch on TV.

Keep up the good work hope I can show you one as soon as I get the courage..
