We are now at the airport getting ready to fly to New York. We completed our last pre-interview right before we left the house and found out that Diane Sawyer has the week off. So, Robin Roberts will be doing the spot, which we're just as happy about. Though we are disappointed that we won't even get to meet Diane. Next time.

Megan was cracking me up. She hugged her mom goodbye and said, "I'm going to be discovered, Mom." :-). I joked with them that maybe Oprah would want to talk to us next and Megan said, "I don't care if I have to wear an Amish outfit and bun, I'll do it." This is the humor of a college freshman. Where did it come from? ;-)

We each get a $53 per diem, but flying through O'Hare and arriving at the hotel well after midnight won't give us much opportunity to spend money. Having to be ready at 6:45am means the girls will get less than 5 hours sleep. Amy was "shocked" that it would only take me about 10 minutes to get ready :-) What can I say? Buffing is very easy. We have separate, but connected rooms. Something tells me that I'm going to be one bathroom short - just like at our house (5 women, 5 bathrooms = Don outside).

Both of the girls said they could now cross one thing off their "Things to do before I die" list. Tomorrow should be a very interesting day
