Tomorrow is INTRODUCE A GIRL TO ENGINEERING DAY!
This week (Feb 18-24) is Engineers Week. So, "Happy Engineers Week" to all of the brilliant engineering minds at Sun and thank you for all that you do to keep Sun's innovation on the cutting edge! Part of this week's focus on Engineers includes a focus on girls and engineering. Tomorrow is "Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day" We all need to take a few minutes tomorrow (or really anytime!) to talk to our daughters, nieces, and other girls in our lives about the importance of math and science in school -- critical 'decision-making' times for girls re: math and science courses are during 8th and 11th grades.
