Road to Netbeans (Nov 15)
I work out two things today. First one is about Projector and Audio Facility. Actually in the last week, I have tried projector myself. There is a small problem in audio facility. I went to IT department to ask these guys for: 1 When can I get the key for projector in AH117(my presentation room) 2 Can I try them in advance. Finally I got a very positive answer. They will send a proctor to confirm projector and audio facility oprating well in that day. It's good! At least I have some guys helping me, while I can pay attention to my presentation. Sorry, I almost forget to mention that professor. At the very first, I went to the wrong office, where he worked. After I show him my goal, he bring me to IT help desk himself. Thanks him very much!!
Secondly, I booked food catering service. On the budget, I ordered:

BTW, this order is for 30 people. Currently I got about 25 RSVP, I think there are more students showing up in my presentation in that day. I hope it is not a big deal with money.
I got them done before 3:00 pm today. After that time, I was continuing to perfect my second presentation's project. Although Netbeans 6.0 is good, I have to aknowledge that it is still a demo, and there are somethings I can not understand, such as the color in text editor. The context Awareness Demo System is to let mobile accessing and PC accessing get the information automatically. I use PortalDataServlet to illustrate a context aware service, and use MobDataServlet and WebDataServlet to operate the request from mobile or pc. The data is coming from JavaDB. The raw data is uniformed. We do some data transform in MobDataServlet and WebDataServlet, then response the characteristic information to mobile user and PC user. I just wanna use this Demo to illustrate a accessing-context-aware system.
Done. Oh, Ilya, the network in my lab can not support me use port of 2252, which is Collabaration port in netbeans. If you saw this post, be patient, I will be back home soon.
