Sun begins delivering on its Project Indiana effort, which is intended
to entice more Linux users to try out the open-source Solaris OS.
According to Ian Murdock, chief operating systems platform strategist at
Sun, "By the end of the month, we will have the first developer preview
available of OpenSolaris available at opensolaris.org." The finished
project is planned for release in March.
