Sun Tech Talk(2) report
The second Sun Tech Talk in University of Lethbridge was held on Nov 24. It is one part of Graduate Student Association Multi-disciplinary Conference. The talk attacted 21 audiences. The topic for the second Sun Tech Talk is: Application and Collabaration, Any Time Anywhere. Firstly I made the introduction of Netbeans6.0. Secondly I showed an Applicaiton developped on Netbeans 6.0. The application integrated several technologies series, e.g. Web Development, Mobility Development and JavaDB etc.. I made a funny story to illustrate a scene that a lazy boy used his mobile to finish a final examination, while his classmates finished their final examination on web. After the story, I introduced some content of Collabaration plug-in in Netbeans 6.0. I had invited Sun Campus Ambassadors in University of alberta, Zhijie Wang, and in University of Calgary, Jasmine Chang to Collabarate with me to finish this demonstration. Unfortunately there was some problem in networks in that classroom. I just used slides to do some introduction of Collabaration plug-in, without the demonstration. The audiences were interested in this topic, because the Collabaration is a hot topic in university of lethbridge currently.
